What the florist needs from you
Muskogee has several funeral homes, and families from Fort Gibson, Taft and Haskell often hold services in town. Local florists deliver to them regularly and know how each one likes flowers to arrive, so you do not need to call the funeral home first.
What you do need is the full name of the person who died, the name of the funeral home or church, and the date and time of the visitation or service. If the obituary is online, have it open when you call. It usually has everything the florist will ask for.
