Flowers for the family, not just the service
In the days after a loss, the house fills with casseroles and visitors. Then, about a week later, it goes quiet. A lot of people in Muskogee choose that moment to send something, a low arrangement for the kitchen table or a plant the family can keep.
Sympathy flowers tend to be smaller and softer than service pieces. White, cream and pale green are common, but there is no rule. If the person who died loved bright yellow roses, that may mean more to the family than anything traditional.
