Planning the flowers
A quinceañera often starts with a Mass and continues with a reception that can rival a wedding. Flowers show up in both places, from the quinceañera's bouquet to boutonnieres for the chambelanes and centerpieces on every table.
Color is usually set by her dress and the theme. Bring a photo of the dress and any fabric or ribbon to match. Ask the florist which flowers they can get in those shades, and have a second choice ready if a color is hard to find.
Many families also bring flowers to the church as an offering. Tell the florist about the Mass time and the church so they can plan. Order early, a month or more ahead, since spring and summer weekends are busy with weddings.
