Who usually gets one

The groom and groomsmen wear boutonnieres. Fathers and grandfathers usually do too. Mothers and grandmothers often get corsages, either pinned on or worn on the wrist. Many couples also include ushers, readers, the officiant and anyone else who has a role.

Make a list with names before you call. It is the easiest way to make sure Grandma is not left out on the day. Some couples ask the florist to label each piece with a name.

Corsages can be pinned to a dress or worn on the wrist. Wrist corsages are easier on delicate fabric. Our wrist vs pin-on corsage guide covers the choice.
