Grandparents Day

Flowers for Grandparents Day

National Grandparents Day is the first Sunday after Labor Day. Call and send something to a grandparent at home or in senior living.

Muskogee Flowers is a free referral line. Your order is taken, arranged and delivered by an independent local florist.

A day for the people who raised us too

Grandparents Day is easy to miss, but it means a lot to the people it is for. In Muskogee, plenty of kids are raised partly by grandparents, and a lot of grandparents live just a few miles away in Fort Gibson, Haskell or Wagoner.

Flowers with a note from the grandkids, or a drawing tucked into the card, is a sweet idea. If your grandparent is in a nursing home or assisted living, see our senior living flowers page for tips.

Early September is still hot in Oklahoma. Sturdy flowers and a cool spot inside will help an arrangement last. A plant is also a good fit for a grandparent who likes to garden.
