Garden of Lights

The Garden of Lights at Honor Heights, and flowers for the season

The Garden of Lights at Honor Heights Park is a Muskogee holiday tradition. Here is what the city posts about visiting, and how flowers fit into the season.

Muskogee Flowers is a free referral line. Your order is taken, arranged and delivered by an independent local florist.

A Muskogee holiday tradition

Every holiday season, Muskogee Parks and Recreation lights up Honor Heights Park. The city's Garden of Lights page (opens in a new tab) lists admission, concession hours and hayride details. It encourages guests to park and stroll around the pond and to stay on the sidewalks. Check the page for current dates and prices before you go.

Hayrides are offered by advance reservation for groups, according to the city, and there is a Garden of Lights 5K in December. It is the kind of outing families plan around grandparents visiting or a first date in town.

Flowers fit right in. A holiday centerpiece waiting at home after a night at the park is a nice touch, and poinsettias make an easy gift for whoever hosted. We are not connected with the park or the event.
