Services in and around Checotah
Checotah sits along US 69 in McIntosh County, near Lake Eufaula and the Honey Springs Battlefield. Funerals there are often held at a church in town or a local funeral home, and many families have relatives in Muskogee, Eufaula and Tulsa.
Because Checotah is a drive from Muskogee, ask the florist about delivery and timing as soon as the service time is set. If the service is early in the morning, the florist may want to deliver the evening before.
Graveside services in the country call for sturdy flowers. See our cemetery flowers page for what holds up outdoors.
