Thanking the person who knows everything
Every office has one. The person who knows where the files are, who remembers birthdays and who handles the problems no one else wants. Administrative Professionals Day falls on a Wednesday in late April, and flowers on the desk are one of the most common ways to say thanks.
A desk-sized arrangement or a small plant is right. Big pieces take over a workspace. Bright spring colors work well in April. A card that names something specific they did this year means more than a generic note.
