What time are flowers delivered? Ask about the window

Most florists deliver within a window, not at an exact minute. The florist you reach will tell you what to expect.

How delivery timing usually works

Most florists run delivery routes, so flowers arrive within a window during business hours rather than at a set time. The exact window depends on the florist, the day and where the address falls on the route. We do not set delivery times, so ask the florist.

If timing matters, say so. For a funeral, give the service time so flowers arrive before it starts. For a surprise at work, mention when the person will be in. For a hospital, ask whether the florist delivers to the front desk or the room.

Busy days like Valentine's Day and Mother's Day often have wider windows. If you need something today, see same-day flowers.
